The 50 State Mission
Our goal is to travel to all 50 states here in America. I don’t want to just drive through them, but to experience each of them. Experiences are more important than material, and I try to live by that.
I don’t want to be like that damn guy on Netflix! I think his name was Stephen Fry?!?! He went to every state here in America and then he came to Indiana. Guess what he did! Oh shit no you didn’t!!!! Yes he did…he went to Elkhart, IN. What the hell is there? You guessed it…a fucking Fire station. This guy went to a fire station! Kind of makes you feel as though Indiana is straight up boring!
I’ll admit it, we aren’t the most exciting state, but he could have at least went to Notre Dame or Turkey Run. I want to look for the beauty in each state. There has to be something each of them got something to offer right?!?! There will be some hard ones. So if anyone out there has ideas for places like Kansas besides Tornados, let me know!.
Here is a start of our goal, and I plan on coming back to this post and updating along the way! It might take a few years to complete. We aren’t rich by the way! lol
For me, I have already been to 30 states, but I am basically starting over since Jason hasn’t been to some of the places I have been. I love experiencing something with someone especially if it is their first time. It makes it that much more deeper! Developing those close relationships even further! <3
Jason and I have the same type of adventure. We love adventure, but we aren’t the type of people who want to jump out of a plane either…lol…thank god! Just enough to make life exciting, but not the near death experience.
Be sure to check out my YouTube channel. I have a ton of videos of my travel there too. I also give reviews of the hotels I stay at.
I would like to go to Space Camp in Huntsville and the US space and Rocket center. Space camp is for all ages who would like to learn how we become astronauts.
L.A sounds cool. I’ve never been to California, but I bet it is beautiful out there. Wouldn’t want to live out there though. Way too expensive. My lifestyle and traveling is more important to me at this point in my life. Reasons why I still live in Indiana.
I have been here, but Jason hasn’t. Rocky Mountains, Denver, weed tours sounds awesome to me! lol Pikes peak and the Great Sand dunes sounds cool. I have this awesome memory of driving through the Rocky Mountains late at night. I stopped on the side of the road. It was pitch black with a million stars in the sky! I miss it!
I want to go to Walt Disney World! The sucky part is Jason has motion sickness. Yup, he is the guy who will puke on you…lol He still wants to go but most likely I will be riding the tea cups by myself.
Florida keys and Fort lauderdale sounds awesome too.
I’m thinking Atlanta, Savannah and Tybee island.
Hell YEah! Maui or Honolulu! It will be a long flight, plus Hawaii tends to be expensive, but I plan on still going. It might be awhile on this one. I also heard from others on Youtube, that if you have an allergy to mold, be prepared. Crap, guess I’m bringing the nasal spray, peppermint oil and the decongestants…will not stop me…lol
Salem…I want to go there. You know, the Salem witch trials! lol Yeah I like weird spooky shit.
I love lake Michigan! This Summer of 2019, we we started a new trend. We always went to the same beaches. I’ve been to Silver Beach, New Buffalo beach and Warren Dunes a million times, so it was time to step out to see other beaches.
South Haven, Holland and Muskegon was the new places we went to. I’m not your “let’s lay on the beach” type of girl. More like, lets explore the area! Let’s going hiking and watch the boats go by! I have laid on the beach before, but 10 min. later, I get bored…lol
For me, I really enjoy it and so does Jason. We plan on doing more in the future. I think next summer, I plan on buy a recreational pass. It is only $33 for the year! That way we will not have to pay $9 each time. Jason and I plan on exploring more of Michigan in the near future!
I want to take Jason to Mackinac Island, Traverse city and explore more upper Michigan.
I also would like to buy some green up here to since Indiana is probably will be the last to legalize it…lol
Since I have been to Elvis’s mansion, it is time to check out the house he grew up in located in Tupelo.
I think it would also be cool to go to Natchez pilgrimage located in Natchez. You can take a tour of these giant mansions on plantations from the late 1700’s to the 1800’s.
I also would like to take a tour at Stennis Space Center (NASA) and go to the Infinity Science Center located in Pearlington.
Glacier National Park looks beautiful! Another future trip!
COMING SOON! Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Area 51 Oct. 2020 and after that St. George Utah!
White mountain national park is a place I would go!
Atlantic city would be something to see and walk the boardwalk!
I want to go to Rosewell! Yes, I want to meet my alien friends…lol…Take me to your leader biiitch!
I would like to go to Asheville. I think it would be cool to do that Treetop adventures. They have course ranging from 8ft. to 60 ft. off the ground. I don’t know if I would do the 60 ft. but it sounds really cool. I’m terrified of heights but I still want to do it! They strap you in a harness, so I might be fine.
Other things that would be cool would be Lazoom which is a bus tour around the city. I would want to do the haunted comedy bus tour. It looks fun.
I also would like to go to Biltmore Estate Winery ( The Vanderbilt mansion). Taste some wine and explore the Vanderbilt mansion. The Vanderbilt’s built their wealth from ferries, steamship lines, railroads, and stock. Then as each generation inherit the wealth, they started spending more than they make. Today, the family is broke.
And of course, I can’t forget to go to the Blue Ridge mountains!
Theodore Roosevelt national park looks amazing. Anything that has to do with nature and beauty. Oh shit, don’t forget those Bison!
Portland is another must see.
I have been to Mount Rushmore, but Jason hasn’t, so we must go! The badlands looks cool to explore.
Planning to go to Dallas. Jason loves the Dallas Cowboys and want to see the stadium plus a game.
COMING SOON! Already booked St. George and Zion national park for Oct. 2020. I’m soo excited. We are staying at the Inn on a cliff! Utah looks sooo beautiful. Those red rocks! I’m betting this is going to be similar as Sedona and I loved Sedona!!
Green Mountain national park!
I’m thinking Virgina beach?!?!
Seattle looks beautiful!
Monongahela national park sounds cool. Jason and I stayed at this travel plaza just outside of Charleston and slept in the car. I don’t count that mainly because we didn’t explore the area. We were just driving through on our way to Myrtle beach.
I have been to Wyoming before when I was a kid, but I have never been to Yellowstone, so that is the goal!
Do you see that bridge above the waterfall? Yeah, I conquered my fear of bridges! At first I didn’t think I was going to be able to do it. Jason took my hand. It was terrifying! LOL I’m a pussy. After the first time, I was able to do it again with no problem. It is easier to tackle a fear when someone is there with you. <3 This waterfall is taller than Niagara Falls.
